Stu Stout: decorated WWII veteran; PA state trooper; member of the WHD FDR-LBJ; received an award for protecting President Truman from an assassination attempt (11/1/50); received the Exceptional Civilian Service Award for protecting then-Vice President Nixon in Caracas, Venezuela (5/13/58); Mamie Eisenhower's number one agent; waiting for JFK at the Trade Mart when the assassination took place (Stout was one of 3 Shift Leaders at this time: designated ATSAIC); a charter member of the AFAUSSS in 1969; ended his career as a White House Usher; deceased December 1974; bore a striking resemblance to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover!
